Privacy policy

This policy explains how Lautio (Steinnes Tre AS) processes your personal data in the lautio.fi online shop. We process data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Finnish Data Protection Act.

What data we process. When you order, we process your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, order details and payment status. We do not store card details – payments are processed by the payment service provider. Use of the website generates technical data such as IP address, device and browser information and cookie data. If you contact us, we process the content of your message and your contact details. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email address.

Why and on what basis. Delivering the order, processing the payment and customer service: performance of the contract. Accounting and obligations under consumer protection law: legal obligation. Security, functioning and development of the online shop: legitimate interest. Newsletter and marketing: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who receives the data. We use trusted service providers that process data on our behalf: Shopify (e-commerce platform), payment service providers, the carrier that delivers your parcel, and email and customer service tools. We do not sell your personal data.

Transfers outside the EU and EEA. Some service providers (for example Shopify) may process data outside the EU and EEA. Such transfers are based on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or another transfer mechanism under the GDPR.

Retention. We keep order data for the period required by accounting legislation. We keep customer service messages for as long as handling the matter requires. We keep newsletter subscriber data until you unsubscribe.

Cookies. The online shop uses necessary cookies that make the cart and checkout work, and, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies. You can manage cookie settings in the cookie notice shown on the site and in your browser settings.

Your rights. You have the right to access your data, request rectification or erasure, restrict processing, object to processing and receive your data in a portable format. You may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise your rights, contact us at info@lautio.fi. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
